Our Legal Disclaimer

1. Nature of Services

Nova Praxis Alliance (NPA) provides coaching, consulting, facilitation, and related support services to individuals, couples, groups, professionals, and organizations. The services offered by NPA are not therapy, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or mental health services, and should not be understood as such unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement and provided by a properly licensed clinician.

Engagement with NPA does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, or physician-patient relationship. Nothing shared on this website, in any NPA publication, or in the course of NPA services constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Treatment

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, domestic violence, substance use disorder, or any condition requiring clinical diagnosis or treatment, please seek help from a licensed mental health professional, physician, or emergency services immediately.

  • National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988 (call or text)

  • Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

  • Emergency Services: 911

NPA services are not appropriate as a sole or primary intervention for acute psychiatric conditions, and NPA does not diagnose, treat, or manage any mental or physical health condition.

3. Confidentiality & Limits of Confidentiality

NPA takes confidentiality seriously. However, confidentiality is not absolute. Depending on the specific services engaged and the professional delivering them, there may be circumstances under which information may be disclosed without consent, including but not limited to:

  • Credible risk of harm to self or others

  • Suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of a vulnerable adult

  • Court orders or other legal obligations

  • Organizational or group engagements where the nature of the work involves shared information among multiple participants

The specific terms of confidentiality applicable to your engagement will be outlined in your service agreement.

4. No Guarantees of Outcome

NPA is committed to bringing care, honesty, and expertise to every engagement. However, NPA makes no guarantee, express or implied, that any individual, couple, group, or organization will achieve a specific result through participation in NPA services. Outcomes depend on many factors outside NPA's control, including individual circumstances, effort, readiness for change, and external conditions.

5. Testimonials & Case Examples

Any testimonials, case examples, or success stories shared on this website or in NPA materials are provided for illustrative purposes only. They represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee that any other client will achieve the same or similar results. Some identifying details may be changed to protect privacy.

6. Website Content & External Links

The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. NPA makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not warrant that information is complete, current, or error-free. NPA is not responsible for the content of any third-party websites linked from this site.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NPA, its principals, associates, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of this website or participation in NPA services. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
